בלהה בלטר: נולדה בארגנטינה ועלתה ארצה בשנת 1995 יחד עם משפחתה. כיום מתגוררת בבאר שבע והיא חברה בקהילת '/אשל אברהם' בלהה הנה BA במדעי היהדות (ארגנטינה) BA במקרא (ישראל) MA בהיסטוריה של עם ישראל בעת החדשה (ישראל) מזה 33 שנה היא עוסקת בחינוך פורמאלי ולא פורמאלי בארץ ובחו"ל. נעמי גרץ פרשה לאחרונה לגמלאות לאחר 35 שנות הוראה באוניברסיטת בן גוריון. מתגוררת בישראל מאז 1967, ובעומר מאז 1974. כתבה ספרים רבים ובינם Unlocking the Garden: A Feminist Jewish Look at the Bible, Midrash and God (Piscataway NJ: Gorgias Press, 2005), The Rabbi’s Wife Plays at Murder (Beersheva: Shiluv Press, 2004), S/He Created Them: Feminist Retellings of Biblical Stories (Professional Press, 1993; second edition Gorgias Press, 2003) Silence is Deadly: Judaism Confronts Wifebeating (Jason Aronson, 1998). בימים אלו היא מלמדת פרשת השבוע (באנגלית ובעברית) בהתנדבות. הרבהאריאלה גרץ ברטוב בוגרת תואר ראשון במדעי המדינה ובפילוסופיה כללית באוניברסיטה העברית. בוגרת תואר שני ביהדות עם התמחות בחינוך חברתי במכון שכטר. אריאלה למדה בתוכנית הישראלית לרבנות בהיברו יוניון קולג' בירושלים. בזמן הלימודים בקולג' עבדה אריאלה כרכזת קהילת "כל הנשמה". לפני כשלוש שנים הצטרפו אריאלה ומשפחתה לקבוצת אנשים, שהחליטו להיענות לאתגר ציוני - יהודי ולהחיות מחדש את קיבוץ חנתון שבגליל התחתון, אשר עמד בפני פירוק. היום הם שותפים לבניית קהילה יהודית, ליברלית ופלורליסטית המכילה את כל הזרמים, ואריאלה היא מנהלת הקהילה של הקיבוץ. הרב שירה ישראל, ילידת איראן, הייתה מעורבת בלימוד מדיטציה יהודית ורוחניות במשך 18 השנים האחרונות. לאחר שהתגוררה בקליפורניה במשך 20 שנה, עלתה לישראל, ובשנת 2000 הוסמכה לרבנות ע"י בית המדרש לרבנים ע"ש שכטר. היא צללה לתוך עולם הרוחניות, סוחפת אחריה את תלמידיה. כהנה כרב ומנהיגה רוחנית בקהילת שלווה בצפת שנתיים. כעת עוסקת בהדרכה רוחנית, הוראה, כתיבה, ואירגון המרכז לרוחניות יהודית לנשים. נטלי לסטרג'ר סטודנטית לרבנות בבית המדרש לרבנים ע"ש שכטר. בעלת תואר ראשון במדעי החיים ובתואר שני במדע המדינה מטעם האוניברסיטה העברית. בוגרת "תהודה" , תוכנית דו-שנתית לפיתוח מנהיגות יהודית פלורליסטית. מנחה קבוצות, מרצה בבתי מדרש ובמכינות קדם-צבאיות ברחבי הארץ. יזמית ופעילה חברתית, בדגש על הרחבת השיח הציבורי בישראל בנושאי זהות יהודית פלורליסטית מחד, ושמירה על זכויות נשים ומיעוטים מאידך. חברה בארגון "שומרי משפט – רבנים למען זכויות אדם", ונוהגת להצטרף לתפילותיהן של "נשות הכותל". בימים אלה נכנסה נטלי לתפקידה כּרָבָּה החדשה של הקהילה הקונסרבטיבית "סיני" אשר במרכז תל אביב. נטלי נשואה למשה ויחד מגדלים את שבעת ילדיהם במבשרת ציון הרב ד"ר חביבה נר-דוד: אשת חינוך ופעילה חברתית. המנהלת המייסדת של "רעות: המרכז לנישואין יהודיים מודרניים" ושל "שמעיה: מקווה רוחני וחינוכי" בקיבוץ חנתון. האוטו-ביוגרפיה שלה, "Life on the Fringes: A Feminist Journey Towards Traditional Rabbinic Ordination", התמודד בהצלחה לפרס הספר היהודי הלאומי (National Jewish Book Award), וספרה האוטו-ביוגרפי השני, "Giving Chanah Voice: A Feminist Rabbi Reclaims the Women's Mitzvoth of Baking, Bathing, and Brightening", ייצא לאור בשנת 2010. הרב ד"ר נר דוד היא שותפה בועד נשות הכותל והרבנים למען זכויות אדם. בקיץ האחרון עברה עם משפחתה להתגורר בקיבוץ חנתון בגליל התחתון. ד"ר רותי פויכטונגר השלימה לימודי דוקטורט במסגרת התכנית ללימודי מגדר באונ' בר אילן, במסגרתם חקרה את התופעה של נשים אורתודוקסיות המלמדות גמרא. מנחה קבוצות במסגרת "מרכז סיוע לנפגעות תקיפה מינית", חברת הועד המנהל של 'קולך' ועורכת אתר 'קולך'. מלמדת נושאים ביהדות במסגרות שונות ומרצה על סחר בנשים במסגרת "מרכז סיוע לעובדים זרים". טטיאנה צדקין עלתה בשנת 1990 ממוסקוה. היא בעלת תואר שני בתולדות עם ישראל מאוניברסיטת חיפה. ב-18.5 שנים אחרונות היא מלמדת ב"מדרשת ירושלים". משנת 2000 היא מלמדת בימי עיון לנשים.
הרב סנדרה קוכמן: נולדה בפרגוואי (דרום אמריקה) ועלתה לארץ בנובמבר 2005. היא הוסמכה לרבנות על ידי בית המדרש לרבנים באמריקה לטינית ע"ש "הרב מרשל ת. מאיר" בשנת 2000, היא בעלת תואר ראשון ב"ארגון וניהול מוסדות ללא מטרות רווח" מאוניברסיטת "בר אילן" בארגנטינה וכרגע היא לומדת לתואר שני ב"לימודי האישה והיהדות" במכון שכטר למדעי היהדות. היא האישה הראשונה ששימשה רב בברזיל, בקהילת "א.ר.י." בריו דה ז'נירו. סנדרה היא הרכזת של "הקהילה המסורתית-משפחתית בבית הכרם" בירושלים וגם מלמדת קורסי גיור בספרדית במסגרת התנועה המסורתית ובמסגרת "המכון המשותף ללימודי היהדות". החל מאוקטובר 2008 היא רכזת תחום הנישואין והגיור של התנועה המסורתית. אלה קוצ'רנקו בעלת דיפלומה של מורה לעברית מהאוניברסיטה היהודית במוסקבה והאוניברסיטה הפדגוגית במוסקבה. למדה ספרות עברית באוניברסיטה העברית וערכה את מהדורת הכתבים הנבחרים של ש"י עגנון ברוסית לבתי ספר יהודיים. אלה סיימה תכנית תלת-שנתית של לימודי משנה וגמרא לנשים בבית מורשה בירושלים ולמדה שנה במרכז רוטנברג לפסיכולוגיה יהודית. העבירה קורס הרצאות בסיפורת עברית בת ימינו ובית מדרש יצירתי באגדה. כעת עובדת במוזיאון יד ושם ופעילה בתנועה אקולוגית. החל משנת 2004 מלמדת בימי לימוד לנשים מסורתיות. ד"ר עירית קורן: קיבלה את הדוקטורט שלה מהתוכנית ללימודי מגדר באוניברסיטת בר-אילן (2007). לאחר הדוקטורט נסעה לניו יורק, שם עשתה את פוסט-הדוקטורט שלה באוניברסיטת קולומביה שבניו יורק וכן הייתה מרצה אורחת באוניברסיטת רטגרס שבניו ג'רסי. קורן היא המחברת של הספר "הרי אתה מחודש לי: מגדר, דת ויחסי כוח בטקס הנישואין היהודי (2011, הוצאת מאנגס). ושל הספר "ארון בתוך ארון: סיפוריהם של הומואים ולסביות דתיים" המחקר של ד"ר קורן מתמקד בצומת הדרכים שבין מגדר ויהדות ובייחוד באתגרים שנשים חוות במפגש של העולם המודרני עם העולם המסורתי. קורן לימדה במוסדות אקדמאים ולא אקדמאים רבים הן בארץ והן בארה"ב ביניהם JTS, אוניבריסטת קולומביה, אוניברסיטת רטגרס, עלמא ניו יורק, המכללה האקדמית של תל אביב יפו וכן הלאה.ניו יורק, המכללה האקדמית של תל אביב יפו וכן הלאה. ד"ר קורו עוסקת גם בעיצוב והנחיית טקסי חיים אלטרנטיבים בארץ כגון: שמחת בת ונישואין.
החזנית שולה רזניק החזן שולמית רזניק עלתה לישראל מלטביה בשנת 1995. היא בוגרת בית-הספר לחזנים "מעלות" (מרילנד, ארה"ב 2004) ותכנית "שיאים" למרקידים (אוניברסיטת תל-אביב, 2008. לשולמית ניסיון רב הן בתחום אמנויות הבמה והן בתחום של עבודה קהילתית יהודית בישראל, בבריה"מ לשעבר ובארה"ב. היא שימשה כמנהלת להקת הריקוד "אילת" (ריגה, 1992-1995), המנהיג הרוחני של קהילת "בית-חברים" (מרילנד, ארה"ב 2003-2005) ומנהלת תכנית הקירוב "שירת השרון" (רעננה וסביבתה , 2005-2008 ד"ר שרה שטרסברג-דיין(מחשבת ישראל) ילידת אורוגוואי, גדלה בארגנטינה וסיימה שם לימודי פילוסופיה ותיאטרון באוניברסיטה הלאומית של בואנוס איירס. פרסמה שם שלושה ספרי מחזות. ב-1975 עלתה ארצה, וב-1988 קיבלת תואר דוקטור לפילוסופיה של האוניברסיטה העברית. לימדה באוניברסיטה העברית ובאוניברסיטת בן גוריון ועכשיו מלמדת מחשבת ישראל במכון שכטר בירושלים. פרסמה בארץ חמישה ספרים, שני ספרי מחזות בספרדית, שניים בעברית וב-1995 פרסמה את ספרה: "יחיד, אומה ואנושות" בהוצאה הקיבוץ המאוחד.
English Bio’s Tamar Biala - M.A in Jewish studies and Women studies, co-editor of the anthology 'Dirsuni - Israeli Women Writing Midrash'. Teaches Judaism and Jewish Feminism at the Hartman Institute and elsewhere. Bilha Balter born in Argentina and made aliyah in 1995 with her family. Now she is living in Beersheva , a member of Kehilah Eshel Avraham. She earned a B.A. in Argentina in Jewish Studies and a B.A. in Bible in Israel. She has an M.A. in The History of Israel in the Modern Period also earned in Israel. She has been teaching in formal and informal education for 33 years in Israel and other countries. Rabbi Judith Edelman-Green was ordained in 2009 at HUC in Jerusalem. Her Rabbinical thesis is a study texts to support parents young adults with special needs. Her Rabbanut involves building a community for adults with special needs in Kfar Sava, called "Rimon Community," to provide a home for life, work with meaning, recreation and a spiritual life for those who are often excluded. She received the Liebhaber Award for Religious Tolerance and Pluralism in 2003, and an award to Distinction in Contribution to Israel Society in 2008 from HUC. She is the author of a novel "Immigrant Lessons." She is a founding member of the Women's Study Days, and has led prayers (also in sign language) and study since their inception. see www.rimonvillage.com. Dr. Ruti Feuchtwanger Completed her Ph.D studies at the Gender studies program in Bar-Ilan University, where she studied the new phenomenon of modern Orthodox women scholars who teach Gemara. She works in the education project of the 'Haifa Rape Crisis Center'. She is a member of the Kolech Board of Directors and edits the Kolech website. She teaches topics in Judaism in various frameworks and lectures about trafficking inwomen for the "Hotline for migrant workers". Rabbi Ariella Graetz Bar Tuv has a B.A. in political science and philosophy from the Hebrew University and an M.A in Judaism from Machon Shechter. She was ordained at Hebrew Union College. About 3 years ago, Ariella and her family joined a group of people who decided to answer to the call of the Zionist-Jewish challenge to revive Kibbutz Hanaton in the Lower Galilee, which was on the brink of falling apart. Today they are partners in building a Jewish-Liberal-pluralistic kehilla which includes all of the religious streams. Ariella is the Community Director of Kibbutz Hanaton.
Naomi Graetz has recently retired after teaching for 35 years at Ben Gurion University. She has been living in Israel since 1967 and in Omer, since 1974. She is the author of Unlocking the Garden: A Feminist Jewish Look at the Bible, Midrash and God (Piscataway NJ: Gorgias Press, 2005), The Rabbi’s Wife Plays at Murder (Beersheva: Shiluv Press, 2004), S/He Created Them: Feminist Retellings of Biblical Stories (Professional Press, 1993; second edition Gorgias Press, 2003), and Silence is Deadly: Judaism Confronts Wifebeating (Jason Aronson, 1998). She is now volunteering as a teacher of parshat ha-shavua (in English and Hebrew) in her local community. Her forthcoming article on "Trauma and Recovery: Abraham's Journey to the Akedah" will appear in the Spring issue of CCAR Journal: The Reform Jewish Quarterly.
Rabbi Shira Israel was born in Iran & has been involved in the study and teaching of Jewish meditation, visualization & spirituality for the past 18 years. After living in California for 20 years she moved to Israel where she received her ordination from the Schechter Institute in 2000. She then served as Rabbi of Kehilat Shalva in Zfat for 2 years. She is currently engaged in spiritual counseling, teaching, writings and organizing The Center of Jewish Spirituality for Women.
Dr. Irit Koren has a PhD in gender studies from Bar-Ilan University (2007). After her doctorate, Koren was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies at Colombia University and later a visiting scholar at Rutgers University. Koren is the author of the book You are Hereby Renewed Unto me: Gender, Religion and Power Relations In the Jewish Wedding Ritual (2011, Hebrew University Magnes Press), and also of the book Aron Betoch Aron [Altering the Closet: Stories of Religious Homosexuals] (2003, Yediot Acharonot), the first book that dealt with this taboo subject in Israeli society. Moreover, she has published articles which deal with the intersection of modernity and tradition. Dr. Koren’s research focuses on the intersection of gender and Jewish studies, with a particular emphasis on the challenges faced by women at the juncture of tradition and modernity. Koren has taught at many institutions both in Israel and in New York such as Columbia university, Rutgers University, JTS, The Academic college of Tel-Aviv Jaffa and more. In addition Dr. Koren constructs and perform alternative rituals such as baby girl ceremonies and marriage. Rabbi Sandra Kochmann was born in Paraguay, making aliya to Israel in November 2005. She was ordained at Masorti’s Seminario Rabínico Latinoamericano Marshall T. Meyer, in Buenos Aires, in 2000. She holds a BA in Nonprofit Organization and Administration from Universidad Hebrea-Argentina Bar Ilan, and is presently studying toward an MA in Women’s studies at the Schechter Institute for Jewish Studies. Serving as a rabbi at the ARI Congregation in Rio de Janeiro, she was the first woman to hold a rabbinical post in Brazil. Rabbi Sandra is the coordinator of the Kehilla Masortit Mishpachtit in Jerusalem’s Bet Hakerem neighborhood and also teaches giyur (conversion) classes for both Masorti and the government’s Joint Institute for Jewish Studies. In October 2008 she was appointed Masorti’s coordinator for Weddings and Giyur.
Alla Kucherenko has a B.A. in Hebrew Language and a teaching diploma from Jewish University in Moscow and Moscow Open Pedagogic University. She studied Hebrew Literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and edited Agnon’s stories in Russian for the Jewish School Education. Also taught course on Hebrew Prose for Russian-speakers and led creative beit-midrash on aggadic texts. Now she is working in Yad Vashem Museum and participating in ecological movement. Alla finished the 3-year program of Mishna and Gemora studies at the Bet Morasha in Jerusalem. Also studied for a year in Rotenberg Center for Jewish Psychology. From 2004 teaches at the Women Study Days. Nathalie Lestreger is a student at the Schechter Rabbinical School. She has a B.A. in Life Sciences and an M.A. in Political Science, from the Hebrew University. Nathalie is graduate of “T’hoda,” a two-year program to develop pluralistic Jewish leadership. She lectures and leads pre-army year programs throughout Israel. She initiates social activities aimed at broadening public discourse in Israel on pluralistic Jewish identity while safeguarding the rights of women and the minorities. She is a member of Rabbis for Human Rights and also regularly joins the services of the Women at the Wall. At present, Nathalie is entering her duties as the new spiritual leader of Kehilat Sinai in Central Tel Aviv. She will be ordained shortly. She lives in Mivaseret Zion with her husband and seven children. Rabbi Dr. Haviva Ner-David is a writer, teacher, and activist. She is the founding director of "Reut: The Center for Modern Jewish Marriage," and of "Shmaya: A Spiritual and Educational Mikveh at Kibbutz Hannaton." Her memoir, "Life on the Fringes: A Feminist Journey Towards Traditional Rabbinic Ordination", was a runner-up in the National Jewish Book Awards, and her second memoir, "Giving Chanah Voice: A Feminist Rabbi Reclaims the Women's Mitzvoth of Baking, Bathing, and Brightening", is slated for publication in 2010. Rabbi Dr. Ner-David is on the board of Women of the Wall and Rabbis for Human Rights. She lives with her husband and six children in Kibbutz Hannaton in the Lower Galilee.
Cantor Shula Reznick made aliyah from Latvia in 1995. She received cantorial ordination from the Maalot Seminary in 2004 and graduated from the Si'im Israeli Folk Dance Instructor program in 2008. She has extensive experience in both the performing arts and Jewish communal work in Israel, the former USSR and the United Sates. Shulamit has served as Director of the Eilat Folkdance Ensemble (Riga, 1992-1995), spiritual leader of the Beit-Chaverim Congregation (Calvert County, Maryland, 2003-2005) and director of the Shirat Hasharon immigrant outreach program (Raanana and surroundings, 2005-2008).
Dr. Sara Strassberg-Dayan, born in Uruguay, graduate in Philosophy and Theatre from the National University of Buenos Aires. In Israel from 1975, in 1988 Doctor in Jewish Thought at the Hebrew University. She taught at the Hebrew University and the Ben Gurion University and she teaches now at the Schechter Institute. She published eight books, three (plays) in Argentina and five in Israel, two (plays) in Spanish and three in Hebrew. Tatiana Tzadkin came on aliyah in 1990 from Moscow. She earned a Masters degree in “Toldot Israel” from Haifa University. For the last 18.5 years she has been teaching olim in the Schechter Institute program called Midreshet Yerushalayim. She has been part of the Masorti Women’s Study Day staff since its beginning in 2000.
Алла Кучеренко окончила Еврейский Университет в Москве и Московский Открытый Педагогический Институт по специальности «филолог, преподаватель иврита». Изучала ивритскую литературу в Еврейском Университете в Иерусалиме, редактировала сборник для еврейских школ “Агнон, Новеллы”. Читала курс лекций по ивритской литературе и вела творческий бейт-мидраш по аггаде. Работает в музее Яд Вашем и занимается экологической деятельностью. Закончила трехгодичную программу по изучению Мишны и Талмуда для женщин в Бейт-Мораше, Иерусалим. Также обучалась в Центре Еврейской Психологии Мордехая Ротенберга. С 2004 года преподает на Женских учебных днях.
Кантор Шуламит Резник репатриировалась в Израиль из Латвии в 1995 году. Она окончила школу для канторов в 2004 году (Мериленд, США) и программу "Сиим"для преподавателей танцев при Тел-Авивском Университете в 2008 году. У Шуламит богатый опыт в области сценического искусства а также в области общинной деятельности в Израиле, в бывшем СССР и в Америке. Она работала директором танцевальной группы "Эйлат" (Рига 1992-1995), являлась духовным лидером общины "Дом друзей" (Мериленд США 2003-2005), директором программы "Шират Ашарон" (Раанана, 2005-2008). Шуламит живет со своей семьей в Кармиэле, где работает в Институте изучения иудаизма и учавствует в дефтельности общины "Акерем".
Татьяна Цадкина репатриировалась в 1990 году из Москвы. En Israel desde 1975, en 1988 recibió su Doctorado en Filosofía en la Universidad Hebrea. Se desempeñó y desempeña como docente en la Universidad Ben Gurion, la Universidad Hebrea y actualmente en el Instituto Schechter de Jerusalem. En Buenos Aires publicó tres libros de teatro y en Israel cinco libros, dos de teatro en castellano y tres en hebreo.
